The Energy of the City in the Movement of Water and LightIn 2019,Skyform Studiotransformed the central square of Mykolaiv by creating a unique ensemble of two fountains – a color-dynamic dry deck fountain and an arch fountain. These water feature became more than just urban improvements; they became apoint of attraction for a modern city, pulsating with life and blending technology, art, and human interaction.
The Dance of Water and LightBoth fountains are located in the heart of Soborna Square, forming a public art space where water takes center stage.The color-dynamic dry deck fountain, measuring 15 by 15 meters, embodies the energy of the city in the rhythm of music, coming to life with 20 different melodies. Fifty powerful water jets dance to the music, creating a dynamic spectacle that changes every second.
The arch fountain, measuring 20 by 6 meters, is an interactive space where visitors can walk through and feel like part of a living water installation. Sixty graceful jets form a tunnel of water, which takes on a magical glow in the evening.
The Art of Water and LightWater in motion. The fountains continuously change rhythm depending on the time of day and events taking place in the square. During the day, they offer a soothing visual composition, while at night, they turn into a powerful water feature show that transforms the square into the heart of city life.
